Meet Lucia Fenzi

Fenzi Studio was founded and is directed by Lucia Fenzi, an independent artist, professional jazz drummer, and music composer who has been based in London since 2018. Active in the music scene since the age of 14, she began her journey playing jazz gigs in her native city of Venice, Italy.

Lucia is highly educated and formally trained. She studied at the Conservatory of Music in Italy, where she graduated with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Jazz Drums, also studying classical percussion and piano.

She later expanded her artistic and technical expertise by earning a second Master’s degree in Sonic Arts and Music Production at Goldsmiths, University of London.

After a lifetime dedicated to creating, performing, and teaching music, Lucia opened Fenzi Studio in April 2025, not only as a place for high-quality music lessons, but also as a warm artistic community where making art.

As an independent artist, Lucia produces all her music in Logic, working mostly in MIDI and recording every single part herself. She arranges and produces her tracks autonomously, shaping a personal sound that blends cinematic elements with jazz and electronic influences. Lucia also edits her own music videos using Adobe Premiere, enjoying the creative process of crafting visuals that enhance her music.

Alongside her solo work, she is active in a noise-jazz duo with Bojan Nikolic. Her music is available on all major digital platforms, and her first album as a leader and producer will be released in January 2026.

THE STORY OF FENZI STUDIO

Lucia moved to London in 2017, where she began teaching piano and drums privately from her own room. What started as a small, intimate teaching space slowly grew through years of dedication, investment, and belief in her work. After building her experience and nurturing a strong group of students, Lucia finally achieved one of her greatest satisfactions: founding Fenzi Studio.

The studio didn’t start from zero. Lucia brought with her a solid community of long-term students, many of whom have been studying with her for more than five years. Several of them began their musical journey with Lucia as young children, some as early as age five, and have now progressed all the way to Grade 7. Their growth is a reflection of Lucia’s commitment, guidance, and passion for helping musicians develop their skills with confidence.

Fenzi Studio marks just the beginning. The vision is to grow into a vibrant community and a dynamic music hub, bringing together talented people, creative minds, and a shared passion for music. The studio aims to expand its network, support new collaborations, and become a place where musicians of all ages can learn, create, and thrive.
